The Air Force Physical Fitness Test (PT) score is calculated based on a weighted scoring matrix that considers age, gender, push-ups, sit-ups, and 1.5-mile run time. Each component (push-ups, sit-ups, run) is assigned points from 0 to 60, with a maximum total composite score of 100 points. The overall score determines your fitness category (Excellent, Satisfactory, Unsatisfactory).
- Push-ups: Points awarded based on repetitions completed within one minute.
- Sit-ups: Points awarded based on repetitions completed within one minute.
- 1.5-mile Run: Points awarded based on completion time.
