Fb = √[ (C × A) ÷ (V × (L + (0.732 × D))) ]

  • Fb = Tuning Frequency (Hz)
  • C = Constant (approx. 23,562,000 when V in cubic inches, A in square inches, L & D in inches)
  • A = Total Port Area (square inches)
  • V = Net Enclosure Volume (cubic inches - converted from input cubic feet)
  • L = Port Length (inches)
  • D = Equivalent Port Diameter (inches - derived as √(4 × A ÷ π))
  • 0.732 = End correction factor (accounting for air mass loading at port ends)
