The estimated final interior temperature of a car (Tfinal) is calculated by adding the initial ambient outdoor temperature (Tambient) to an estimated temperature increase (ΔT) based on the elapsed time:
Tfinal = Tambient + ΔT
Where:
- Tfinal: The estimated interior temperature of the car.
- Tambient: The outdoor temperature when the car was parked.
- ΔT: The estimated temperature increase inside the car over time, influenced by solar radiation and other factors. This calculator uses an average, simplified model for ΔT, which is highly dependent on environmental conditions like sun exposure, car color, and window type, and should be considered an estimate.
