GFR Jelliffe Method Calculator

Calculate GFR using the Jelliffe Method

Estimate Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) using the Jelliffe method. This calculator helps assess kidney function based on age, serum creatinine, and gender, providing a crucial indicator for medical professionals.

Formula:

The Jelliffe method provides an estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR) in ml/min/1.73m2. It is generally applicable for adults 20 years and older with stable serum creatinine levels.

Formula:

eGFR (ml/min/1.73 m²) = (98 - 0.8 × (Age - 20)) / Serum Creatinine

If the patient is female, the result is then multiplied by 0.9.

  • Age: Patient's age in years.
  • Serum Creatinine (SCr): Serum creatinine level in mg/dL.
