DASI Calculator: Duke Activity Status Index for Functional Capacity (METs)

Calculate Your DASI Score & Functional Capacity (METs)

The DASI Calculator helps assess your functional capacity by estimating Metabolic Equivalents (METs). Answer 12 simple questions about your daily activities to get your Duke Activity Status Index score, crucial for cardiac risk evaluation and pre-operative planning.

Formula:

The DASI score (in METs) is calculated by summing the weighted values of 'Yes' responses to the 12 activity questions. Each 'Yes' answer contributes its specific METs weight to the total score.

DASI Score (METs) = Σ (Weighted METs for each 'Yes' response)
