Molar Concentration - Henry's Law Calculator

Posted by Dinesh on

Calculate molar concentration (mol/L) of dissolved gas using Henry law or equation online. Henry’s Law makes this quantitative: c = kP

Calculate Molar Concentration of Dissolved Gas

Formula:

c = k × P

where,
k = Henry's law constant
P = gas pressure
c = molar concentration of dissolved gas
Example:

Calculate the molar concentration of O2 in water at 25°C under atmospheric conditions (air contains 22% oxygen). k = 1.3 x 10-3 mol/L • atm.

Solution:

c = (1.3 x 10-3 mol/L • atm) × (1 atm • 22/100) = 2.9 x 10-4 mol/L
