Utilize our TIMI Score Calculator for UA/NSTEMI to quickly assess a patient's risk of death, myocardial infarction, or severe recurrent ischemia within 14 days. This essential tool helps in critical decision-making for managing acute coronary syndrome.
Formula:
The TIMI (Thrombolysis In Myocardial Infarction) risk score for UA/NSTEMI is a sum of 7 clinical variables, with each factor contributing 1 point if present:
- Age ≥65 years
- Presence of ≥3 coronary artery disease (CAD) risk factors (e.g., family history, hypertension, hypercholesterolemia, diabetes, current smoking)
- Prior coronary stenosis ≥50%
- ST-segment deviation ≥0.5 mm on presenting ECG
- Elevated cardiac biomarkers (e.g., troponin)
- Aspirin use in the past 7 days
- Recent severe angina (≥2 episodes within 24 hours)
Total TIMI Score = Sum of all applicable points (0-7)
