Machine Power Range Calculator

Power Range for a Machine Calculation

Calculate power range for a machine by using this simple pump and motor hydrostatic transmissions calculator online.

If output shaft torque and output shaft speed are known, the Power Range for a machine can be found by the following formula:

PRm = (Ts)(Ns)/C2(Er)
Note: Be sure to use maximum locked rotor torque when replacing electric motors.

Formula:

PRm = [(Ts x Ns) / (C2 x Er)]

where:
Ts = Maximum shaft torque
Ns = Maximum shaft speed (RPM)
C2 = A constant to convert to units of power [HP (63025) and Kw (95493)].
Er = Final drive ratio efficiency
