Unlock your academic standing with our Grading Curve Bell Curve Percentile Calculator. Easily determine your percentile rank and Z-score based on your test score, class average, and standard deviation. Understand how you compare to your peers in any course graded on a normal distribution.
Formula:
The calculator first computes the Z-score, which measures how many standard deviations an element is from the mean:
Z = (X - μ) / σ
- X: Student's Score
- μ: Class Mean (Average Score)
- σ: Class Standard Deviation
Once the Z-score is determined, the calculator uses the Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF) of the standard normal distribution to find the corresponding percentile rank.
