The Congestive Stroke Risk Score is calculated by summing points assigned to various common risk factors. This simplified model provides an informational estimate of your risk level.
- Age: +1 point for every 10 years over 50.
- Systolic BP: +1 point for every 10 mmHg over 140.
- Diastolic BP: +1 point for every 5 mmHg over 90.
- Diabetes: +3 points (if Yes).
- Smoking: +2 points (if Yes).
- Atrial Fibrillation: +5 points (if Yes).
- History of CHF (Congestive Heart Failure): +4 points (if Yes).
- Previous Stroke/TIA: +6 points (if Yes).
