η = 1 - (Tc / Th)

  • η: Carnot Efficiency (dimensionless, often expressed as a percentage)
  • Tc: Absolute temperature of the cold reservoir (sink) in Kelvin.
  • Th: Absolute temperature of the hot reservoir (source) in Kelvin.
