Easily determine your average blood sugar level and estimate your A1C with our free online calculator. Ideal for managing diabetes, it helps you track glucose trends and make informed health decisions. Input your daily readings to get immediate insights.
Formula:
The average blood sugar is calculated by summing all valid blood glucose readings and dividing by the number of readings:
Average Blood Sugar = (Sum of all blood glucose readings) / (Number of valid readings)
The estimated A1C (eA1C) is then calculated using the average blood sugar (in mg/dL):
Estimated A1C (%) = (Average Blood Sugar (mg/dL) + 46.7) / 28.7
If your readings are in mmol/L, they are first converted to mg/dL for the A1C calculation:
mg/dL = mmol/L × 18.0182
