Formula:
The APFT (Army Physical Fitness Test) score is not based on a single mathematical formula but rather a detailed scoring table derived from military standards. Your Total APFT Score is the sum of points earned in three events:
- Push-ups: Points awarded based on the number of repetitions completed within 2 minutes.
- Sit-ups: Points awarded based on the number of repetitions completed within 2 minutes.
- 2-Mile Run: Points awarded based on the time taken to complete the run.
Each event is scored from 0 to 100 points, contingent on your age and gender. A minimum of 60 points per event is required to pass, with a total minimum score of 180 points to pass the entire APFT.
Total APFT Score = Points (Push-ups) + Points (Sit-ups) + Points (2-Mile Run)
