Antilog Calculator

Calculate Antilog (Inverse Log)

---

What is an Antilogarithm?

An antilogarithm (or simply antilog) is the inverse function of a logarithm. If you have the result of a logarithm and want to find the original number, you use the antilog. Essentially, it means raising the base to the power of the number provided.

Common vs. Natural Antilog

There are two primary types of antilogarithms used in mathematics and science:

  • Common Antilog (Base 10): If log10(x) = y, then the antilog is 10y. This is frequently used in pH calculations and decibel scales.
  • Natural Antilog (Base e): If ln(x) = y, then the antilog is ey. The value of e (Euler's number) is approximately 2.71828.

How to Use This Tool

Simply enter the value you wish to convert and select the appropriate base. For base 10, the formula is 10x. For natural logs (ln), use the 'e' base. Our calculator provides instant results for both positive and negative inputs.
