Acetaminophen is a pain reliever and a fever reducer. Acetaminophen is used to treat mild to moderate and pain, to treat moderate to severe pain in conjunction with opiates, or to reduce fever.

Expected values: Toxic manifestations have been observed at serum concentrations > 100 μg/mL (> 662 μmol/L), however the toxic range is generally reported at > 200 μg/mL (> 1324 μmol/L).

WARNINGS: Taking too much acetaminophen may cause serious (possibly fatal) liver disease. Adults should not take more than 4000 milligrams (4 grams) of acetaminophen a day. People with liver problems and children should take less acetaminophen. Ask your doctor or pharmacist how much acetaminophen is safe to take.

Formula:

1 µmol/L = 0.1512 µg/mL
1 µmol/L = 0.1512 mg/L
1 µmol/L = 0.0151 mg/dL
1 µmol/L = 0.0151 mg/100mL
1 µmol/L = 0.0151 mg%

Where,

µmol/L is Micromole per liter

µg/mL is Microgram per milliliter

mg/dL is Milligram per deciliter

mg/100mL is Milligram per 100 milliliters

mg% is Milligram percent
