Relative Humidity Calculation
Formula:
Rh = e ÷ es
where,e = actual vapor pressure (difference in the atmospheric pressure with and without the vapor),
es = saturated vapor pressure (partial pressure of water vapor in saturated air),
Rh = relative humidity
Example
Calculate relative humidity when actual vapor pressure is 9.83 hPa; and saturated vapor pressure is 28.08 hPa
Substitute the values to the formula,
Rh = e ÷ es
Rh = 9.83 ÷ 28.08
