This calculator calculates the mechanical efficieny (ηm) using power transferred from the motor to the shaft (p), power lost in the transmission (p1) values.

ηm = (P - Pl) / P

Where,
ηm = Mechanical Efficiency of Pump or Fan
P = Power Transferred from the Motor to the Shaft
Pl = Power Lost in the Transmission
