Simple online aerodynamics calculator to calculate the available lift for a kite at a given wind-speed using Kite Lift (Pull of a Kite) calculator.

Formula:

L = Cl × A × R × (0.5 × v²)

Where,
  • L = Kite Lift
  • C1= Coefficient of lift of kite - given as [(2 π) a]
  • A = Area of kite active surface (m2)
  • R = standard air density value (given at sea level as 1.229 kg/m3)
  • V = Wind velocity
