Darcy Hydraulic Gradient Calculator

Posted by Dinesh on

The hydraulic gradient is the slope of the water table or potentiometric surface, that is, the change in water level per unit of distance along the direction of maximum head decrease.

This calculator calculates the hydraulic gradient(i) using pressure head at point, length of column values.

Formula:

Q=KiA

Where,
Q = Flow Rate,
k = Hydraulic Conductivity,
i = Hydraulic Gradient,
A = Flow Cross Sectional Area.
